After 16 years in Opposition, the Member for Flinders will be part of the Government, a coup for both Mr Treloar and the electorate of Flinders.
“I am pleased to be re-elected as the Member for Flinders, and I am excited to be a part of the new Marshall Liberal Government,” Mr Treloar said.
“This will mean the people of Flinders will have a direct line to the Government of the day, and initiating change will be a much smoother process.”
Mr Treloar is looking forwarding to the Government investing more money into regional and rural SA, including the Eyre Peninsula, with money for roads, country health and education.
As Deputy Speaker and Chair of Committees, Mr Treloar is responsible for chairing the Committee stage of legislation. This is the final stage of a Bill progressing through the Lower House of Parliament.
